The Animal Refuge League takes in nearly 5,000 animals per year, many of whom require urgent medical care above our standard package of vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery. Your generous donation allows animals in need to get the veterinary care they require in order to find their way home.

To help defray the enormous expense of providing cats with dental cleanings and extractions, we are seeking donations to our medical fund to help provide cats with proper dental care. Open your heart to a senior cat in need by sponsoring a dental cleaning for a feline today. A healthy mouth helps promote a better quality of life and increases life expectancy.

The Animal Refuge League takes in a large number of wonderful senior cats, many of whom are suffering from various degrees of dental disease. The average cost for a dental cleaning is $300.

According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 70% of cats show signs of oral disease by age three, and 85% of all adult pets have of periodontal disease.

Left untreated, harmful bacteria from the oral cavity can spread throughout the bloodstream to infect the heart, lungs, liver and kidneys.
