to be spayed or neutered but can't afford the
cost? The Animal Refuge League's STOP Program
may be able to help you and your pet.
If you qualify, we will issue you a certificate to have your pet to be spayed or neutered at a local participating veterinarian's office for a discounted rate.

Nearly 17,000 cats are euthanized every day in the United States. Many of these animals are healthy and adoptable, but there is no one to care for them. Spayed and neutered cats also have a reduced risk of hormonally-related illnesses and display less signs of behavioral problems.
