| Join us for
Paws in the Park, a dog walk around Deering
Oaks Park and you don't need a dog to participate! Proceeds from the event
will help us provide food, shelter and veterinary care (including spaying
and neutering) to help more than 4,000 stray, abandoned and owner-surrendered
animals find their way home. Registrants with $50 or more in pledges will receive a commemorative gift. Raffle winners and contests including Best Tail Wag, Best Trick and Best Bark follow the walk. Walker prizes will be announced Wednesday, September 29th. Everyone is invited to participate with or without a dog. There will be lots of fun for everyone including the kids!. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. For safety, cats are not allowed to walk. All dogs must be leashed (no flexi leashes, please). Individual registration is $15 prior to the event and $20 on the day of the event. Team registration: $35 prior to the event and $40 on the day of the event. Register by September 24th and save $5 off the registration fee. |
