Look out world: here is one dainty-looking dwarf, but don't be fooled: there is a lot of personality packed into this tiny gal! An owner surrender, she has made it quite clear in her short time with us that she wants things done her way or no way at all. After all, have you ever met a diva that didn't know what she wanted? Yelena's got an opinion about everything: where her litter box should go; when she gets fed; how much you put in her bowl; and she is not pleased when uninvited hands attempt to pick her up. These are not unusual rabbit behaviors, as they are territorial animals and don't like the feeling of their paws off the ground. That said, Yelena's perfected the art of being a bossy bunny! Yelena’s going to need a family that has the time and patience to let her warm up to them and give her the wide space she needs to stake out her territory. She will be available for adoption after her spay appointment, and her temperament could change dramatically after her spay as her ‘tude could be hormonal; meanwhile, you can come by and visit her and get to know this dashing diva. |
