Age: ~ 4.5 years old

Gopher and Basie were surrendered with Charlie and Piper and are a product of divorce. Gopher (the lop) is the father of the other three (I know we can’t believe it either!) Basie is overweight like the others, but more so, meaning it is extremely important that he get hours of exercise everyday and is fed a proper diet. Basie has lots of personality! In fact, he’s so silly he has us laughing ‘til our bellies hurt. He loves to grab the biographies and other laminated sheets and book it while munching quite happily on them, then once we pull them away he finds the next closest one, and repeats. Basie had surgery to remove a bladder stone the size of a gumball! He also seems to be the official groomer of the two; we catch him doing it much more to Gopher than the other way around. But don’t forget Gopher. He’s more like the colonel of the group, but still young at heart and has plenty to offer. Just look at that face! Who wouldn’t want to tend to this droopy-eared gent; Papa-bear needs love too and he especially loves pats on his head! None of these bunnies had a “cage” so they are learning cage manners as you read. They’ve had pure freedom to themselves and are being introduced to being litter box trained as well.
