Shakes and Marcy are both three-year-old lop mix rabbits that came to the Animal Refuge League because they were not receiving proper care in their home. These bunnies were bought from a pet store two-plus years ago and have spent most of that time in a basement, being visited by the owner once a week for clean-up and feeding. Regardless of their circumstances, these two bunnies have great potential to be wonderful pets, for the right person. Shakes and Marcy will not be made available to families with children under 10-years-old, due to the fact that they will need lots of socialization with quiet, confident people. Shakes and Marcy will be available for adoption after Marcy is spayed. Feel free to come to the shelter to visit them and, if desired, fill out a survey for adoption.
