Must Go Together
Anton & Zappa were part of an unexpected litter born approximately the first week in July. They arrived at the shelter via a transfer, along with sisters Zephyr & Ione. They spent the fall & early winter hanging out in a foster home, then Zappa caught a bunny cold. What a way to spend the Christmas holiday! She's all better now and are now ready to claim a more permanent space!! Zappa (left, small white on nose) is the more outgoing of the two. She loves hopping to new heights & has no problem begging for attention. Unlike most rabbits, she actually enjoys and demands to be picked up and cuddled. Anton (right, black & white striped face) is more shy and content to let Zappa do the begging. He's more shy about asking for attention & doesn't like being held much. When he couldn't find Zappa at his foster home, he would bug foster mom until Zappa came down from her hiding spot. They both enjoy zooming about open spaces. They shared their foster home with two cats and a guinea pig, and both of them took it upon themselves to meet the guinea pig & made friends with him. The cats, however, ignored them. They are a bonded pair, doing everything together. They share the same leaf of lettuce, bowl of pellets, apple sticks, litter boxes, hay piles, and sleep together often. Everything is better when shared with a buddy; thankfully these siblings have discovered the best buddies are family. This charming duo will capture your heart in no time. Come on over & introduce yourself to them!
