profile

Three-year-old Cooper is an adorable Jack Russell Terrier who will be a loving and entertaining little companion in the right home. This young fellow is anxious and easily overwhelmed in the noisy kennels, but he settles when given space and time. Like many terriers, Cooper tends to have strong likes and dislikes. His fears include yelling, vacuum cleaners, brooms, fireworks, and water. He doesn’t care for having his ears touched or his tail pulled, so any children in his new home should be over 12. He’s selective about his canine companions, but may do well with another resident dog if it is very submissive. Apartment or condo living isn’t recommended for our barky boy. On Cooper’s list of things he loves are melted cheese on his breakfast, sleeping under a blanket, and going for long walks with his people. A large, securely fenced yard or plenty of leash time will be important for Cooper’s happiness. Cooper will be the perfect companion for those who love amusing and feisty little terriers. As always, adopters will receive a discounted rate at our training classes.
