 profile Zander is an enthusiastic 1-1/2 year old pitbull/shepherd mix. He’s a high energy, engaging boy who is Smart with a capital S and will make a wonderful companion for a consistently active new owner. Zander will become the best he can be once he gets exercise, direction, exercise, training, and exercise. His adopters will of course receive a discounted rate at our training classes, a highly recommended way to get their new human/canine relationship off to the very best start. Zander is great with people, good with some other dogs, but has no experience with cats and may be too big and active to successfully live with felines. Zander’s potential will be unlimited in a home where he’ll get outlets for his physical energy and training for his mental energy. This isn’t a boy who can be left to his own devices, because he’s a dog, and dogs tend to guess wrong about acceptable activities. Train them, interact with them, make them valued members of the family, and everyone’s happy. Zander is big and very active, so this goes double for him. He’s a barky boy, but once he gets enough consistent outlets for his energy, his barking may lessen.
