 profile Meet Roscoe – one sweet bundle of extroverted teenager puppy love – all set to find his perfect-for-him family. Roscoe is a 45 pound, nine-ish month old Terrier mix who showed up as a stray. We can't imagine how much he must be missed by someone, somewhere! He’s a people, dog and cat lovin' guy and hasn’t met a stranger yet! Roscoe
is now on a brief vacation in a foster home, just until his new family
comes calling. He loves zooming around and playing with other young dogs,
so finding canine pals in his new life will be a great outlet for his
age-appropriate energy. His first visit to the Dog Park was a huge success!
He played well with others, took canine manners reminders like a trooper
and worked the crowd, making friends with all the people there. Fetching
tennis balls is his kind of fun, and long walks in the woods make his
day. Roscoe is already a master at snuggling – and just lying on
a rug near-by. As an added bonus, Roscoe has been great with the
dog-savvy cats in his foster home. Roscoe already knows sit, and has learned to kennel up into his crate for meals and night-time. He’s studying for good leash manners, yet still needs practice - he's a bit of a puller. It's just that there’s so much to do out there! Roscoe is a great traveler in the car. And has perfect bath-time manners – he stepped into the shower on his own, hoping for the spa treatment. How cute is that? This adorable boy is whip smart and very eager to
please. He’d be a dream Rally-O or agility partner and just an all-around
superstar in a family who likes to get out and move. More importantly,
Roscoe would be a once-in-a lifetime companion. He really is that great
