Due to this, he would do best in a home with a fenced yard to explore or where he would be your daily companion on long walks. Because of his “glass half full” personality, he is a favorite of our volunteer dog walkers. Dozer's past experiences with children have not always been positive, so we recommend Dozer go to a home with no children, or where children frequently visit. His former family reports that he adores some female dogs, so if you have a resident canine, an in-shelter introduction is appropriate to make sure it is a good fit for everyone.
