Darling little London was surrendered to
us when her owner’s living situation underwent a sudden change.
This busy 10-year-old sweetheart, like many older dogs, has been diagnosed
with a low thyroid condition, which inexpensive but ongoing medication
will straighten right out. With her new medication, more exercise, and
less food, London will have her girlish figure back in no time. She is
really quite a tiny girl, and if beagle/brittany doesn’t seem quite
possible, consideration could be given to there being a longhaired mini-dachshund
in her gene pool. London is perky and active for her age, enjoys being
included in activities, and is interested in learning new tricks if there’s
a reward available. She loves people, and is good with other dogs. She
has no experience living with cats, but might learn to love kitty companions.
Because of her small size and her age, little children are not recommended,
but despite her inexperience with children she might be a great friend
to older kids. London is housebroken. She’s been a much loved pet
her whole life, and is seeking a new home where she can once again settle
in as part of the family.
