Naming a wide-eyed, multi-colored cat
after a Bruce Springsteen song gives her four paws up on the cool
meter. And Jersey Girl is one cool girl! Surrendered by an owner
who had to move, she likes to play with water and can be taught
to do tricks for treats. “She is very spoiled,” her
owner wrote. “She is very curious. She is a very good cat.
She will be missed.” Jersey Girl was also described as both
very active and quiet, friendly to those she held dear, and cautious
around those she needed to get to know. “She likes to be alone,
but by your side,” her owner wrote. And she likes women best.
Other pets and children will have to be part of someone else’s
story. Jersey Girl has been assessed here as a Meet Your Match®
purple Private Investigator. These cats need to spend some alone
time so that they may find their own path into a trusting, devoted,
loving relationship with their humans. During her test, Jersey Girl
loved the petting portion, arching her back with delight. She watched
the toys intently during the assessment, and will most likely want
to play when she familiarizes herself with her new digs. “She
just wants a quiet, respectful, loving home. Once she accepts you,
she accepts you gratefully and gives back affection,” her
assessor wrote. Stop by and take this Jersey Girl home for a lifetime
of Saturday nights.
