Quiet, pretty Shadow was brought into the shelter because of allergies in his former family. He can be placed with other cats and at the time of this write up, he was sharing space with other like-minded felines in the shelter’s multi-cat room. Also at the time of this write up, Shadow is a little shy. He seems not to know what to expect or what is expected of him, but he warms up to gentle patting, and when approached slowly with soft words of encouragement, will respond in a positive manner. He came a long way during his evaluation, and gave up a purr or two. More good news regarding his potential comes in the form of his general good-naturedness – if he is treated with respect and kindness, he will totally respond in kind. Shadow is a loving cat that will need a little space all his own to get acquainted with his surroundings. Perhaps another cat will be his buddy and will guide him into the inner workings of his lucky new forever home. Shadow will turn out to be a loyal, loving kitty when he decides that his day and his time have come. Help him realize both as soon as possible.
