Katland lost a ‘landlord versus cat’ battle, after living for five years with her former owner. She’s an inside cat who has been declawed, and thus will remain an inside kitty. She’s a good kitty with a good background who is confused about where she is and what it means. Initially, in the evaluation room, she exited her carrier walking tall and exploring with zest. She came when called, but became wary of what was expected of her. Much of the test went along those lines – initial okay, then a bit of confusion. She will need time to settle into a new home, but she will definitely be able to adapt once a routine is established for her and she knows what to expect. She watched the toys presented to her with an intenseness that shows that she’s very interested in playing once she knows the drill. She was definite about wanting her four paws on the ground, and she was sensitive, so an adult home looking for a nice cat will be right up her alley. She loves to explore and she’d love to establish a new Katland where she rules as a small tiger queen. Katland is yours for the meeting.
