Maxx was brought to the ARL when his previous owners son became allergic to him. He’s an 8-year-old young at heart guy who is very confused as to his stay with us and in result is very scared and timid. He was assessed as a Meet Your Match Purple Private Investigator and will need a gentle, quiet loving home filled with reassuring parents that let Maxx know that it’s OK to come bouncing out of your shell. During his assessment he kept his “owl” eyes up until he started to feel comfortable and his softer eyes came through. It’s important to know that while Maxx might be initially very fearful and scared, that he is certainly not aggressive. He will need a home, preferably his own small room at first, to adapt to and then get introduced to new places in the house at his own speed. Maxx is such a sweet natured fellow that just wants to be in his permanent forever home.
