She sashays through the multi room with inviting glances to all in attendance. She is the princess of petite and entitlement. She has walked these floors for many months and has yet to entice a fellow to take her home. She has beguiled the other cats with her temptress ways and impressed the staff with her soft approaches. But still no one wants to watch her command performance in their home and share with her life’s indulgences. Sitting in her wicker castle, she waits and watches as her multi mates come and go. Her history is fairly simple. Arriving at the ARL as a stray kitten, she was quickly adopted. She lived for a few years with a family and then was surrendered last June because of personal issues. Her favorite spot was resting in a chair, couch or bed. During her assessment, she sniffed, purred and head butted with the assessor. She was not as relaxed being held but was fine with the tail tug. She is a kitty that wants human contact, but also wants to have interactions timed more on her schedule. What Candy needs is someone to give her a warm home and the opportunity to really bond with her people. She has been walking the floors here long enough. download adopter survey donate to help the animals |
