Apparently, Dustie can say, “Mama”. This is just one of her
many talents. She’s been a bit unlucky on the home front, thus far,
but the right fit is just around the corner. She was adopted once, then
returned because of allergies. She was adopted again, but came back because
her owner felt that she would be a better fit for older children. “Dusty
is a great cat. She is playful and affectionate at the same time,” her
second owner wrote. She’s a Meet Your Match® Orange Sidekick,
a tortie blend of independence and l-o-v-e. Dustie likes to go through
life with her four feet on the ground, but she lives to be patted. She’s
confident and she LOVES to play with all kinds of toys. She keeps her meows
light and her purrs loud. She loves to follow her humans around, and she
also needs space for some alone time. She’s barely out of kitten
hood and she’s still learning about who she is. She would so
appreciate someone who can gently teach her what her boundaries are,
as well as
someone who can totally value both her intelligence and her demonstrative
nature.
She would be a wonderful companion for an energetic person or two that
would bring out her best self. Dustie waits to go to her final home.
Maybe the third will really be the charm.
