Animal ID’s: 048044, 048041, 048045
Ages: < 4 Years

Snowball, Peter and Greenleaf have come a surprising distance from their first few days at the shelter. They were frightened of the unknown and unwilling to let their guards down. We have had slow success with them and believe that with someone who is truly willing to work with these birds daily, they will become a loving, mosaic, little Cockatiel family for you. They are in the beginning steps of learning “step-up” and, though they still have a long way to go, they are very trainable. We have not been bitten, but they like to pretend they will; hard on the outside, mush on the inside! They do enjoy chirping so be prepared for a house full of chatter! We feed all our birds Harrisons Pellets with a mixture of Sunshine factor which satisfies all their nutritional needs and this will need to be continued in their new home. Every bird needs multiple widths of dowels/perches so their feet don’t conform to a one size grip. Teflon, aerosol sprays, bleach and candles, among other things are toxic to birds. The average life span of a cockatiel is 15 years so know that you'll be taking on a long-term commitment with these three. Are you willing to be their adoring teacher?
