adoption fees benefit the life-saving programs of the Animal Refuge
League.
All potential adopters are required to submit an adoption application.
The Animal Refuge League reserves the right to reject any application.
puppies
and dogs
$200 < 1 year (puppies)
$150 for dogs age 1-6
$75 for dogs age 7 + (seniors)
$250 transport dogs and greyhounds
This fee covers the following:
- spaying or neutering
- heartworm/lyme test (dogs over 6 months)
- distemper vaccination
- rabies vaccination (dogs over 16 weeks)
- basic worming
- leash
- collar and tag

kittens
and cats
The
fees for
kitten and cat adoptions are:
Kittens aged <1 year $125
Cats aged 1-9 years $75
Cats > 9 years $25
Special Needs Cats $25
This fee covers the following:
- spaying or neutering
- feline Leukemia test
- feline immunodeficiency test (over 6 months)
- rabies vaccination (cats over 16 weeks)
- distemper vaccination
- basic worming
- ear mite treatment (if necessary)
- carrying case

bird adoptions
The
fee for parakeets is $20. The fee for cockatiels is $40.
